Job Description
We are hiring an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the complete operations of Diablo, Raipur.
The GM will be responsible for the overall performance of the outlet, including daily operations, team management, guest experience, sales, profitability, cost control and business growth. The ideal candidate should be confident, well-groomed, and capable of leading a high energy, high footfall restaurant and nightlife environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage complete day to day operations of the outlet.
- Lead and supervise the complete FOH and BOH teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination between service, kitchen, bar, host, security and support teams.
- Maintain high standards of service, food quality, hygiene, grooming and guest experience.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure clear communication of targets, promotions and operational priorities.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage manpower deployment according to business requirements.
- Monitor staff performance, discipline, attendance and productivity.
- Drive sales, upselling, table conversions and overall revenue growth.
- Track daily sales performance and work towards achieving monthly revenue targets.
- Drive promotional activities, events and special offers to increase footfall and revenue.
- Monitor guest feedback and ensure quick and effective resolution of complaints.
- Build strong relationships with regular guests, VIP customers and local clientele.
- Maintain strong floor presence during peak hours and ensure smooth service operations.
- Monitor food, beverage and operational costs and implement measures to control wastage.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, requisitions and consumption.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain food and beverage quality and consistency.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene standards, safety protocols and statutory requirements.
- Review daily operational reports, sales reports, wastage reports and other key business metrics.
- Coordinate with the central management team on operational, financial, marketing and manpower requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve guest experience, sales and operational efficiency.
- Support the outlet in achieving profitability and overall business objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, General Manager or similar senior restaurant operations role.
- Experience managing a high footfall restaurant, premium casual dining outlet, lounge or nightlife venue will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of complete restaurant operations including FOH, BOH, bar and guest management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to drive upselling and revenue.
- Good understanding of restaurant P\&L, cost control, inventory and operational reports.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and manage peak hour operations.
- Well groomed, confident and professional personality.
- Strong guest handling and problem solving skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and maintain discipline while creating a positive work environment.
