Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Assisting in the administrative and academic activities of the PhD Admissions office /Registrar’s Office, including but not limited to
Manager and coordinate the admission procedures and related administrative work for the PhD programme.
Coordinate correspondence with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) regarding admissions, student progress reports, Doctoral Advisory Committee (DAC) meetings, approvals, and other PhD related matters.
Communication with administrative authorities, faculty members, and supervisors and other stakeholders within SJNAHS to facilitate the smooth functioning of the PhD programme
Serve as the primary point of contact for PhD scholars, addressing queries and coordinating academic and administrative requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to PhD admissions, academic progress, approvals, meetings, and correspondence.
Coordinate with the Accounts, Grants, HR, and relevant fellowship-granting agencies to ensure that eligible PhD scholars receive their fellowship payments in a timely manner and that PhD fees are processed and paid within the stipulated timelines.
