Telecaller (Tamil & English)

Job Summary

We are hiring a dedicated and result-oriented Senior Telecalling Officer to manage debt collection and recovery calls for our financial services operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Tamil and English, possess strong persuasion and negotiation skills, and have a proven background in handling collections and recovery portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to customers regarding overdue loan payments, EMI balances, and credit accounts.

Explain outstanding balances, payment terms, and restructuring options clearly in Tamil and English.

Negotiate repayment plans and follow up diligently until the full payment is resolved and recorded.

Maintain professional telephone etiquette while handling challenging customer interactions firmly and empathetically.

Update CRM software and call logs with accurate interaction notes and promised payment dates (PTP).

Meet and exceed daily call volume targets, recovery rates, and portfolio collection goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

Any Graduate or Post Graduate (Any Stream).

Language Proficiency

Fluent in Tamil and English (Mandatory).

Experience: 1+ years of experience in telecalling or customer outreach. Prior experience in NBFC or BFSI debt collection is strongly preferred.

Skills

Strong negotiation, customer handling, persuasion, and active listening skills.

Computer Literacy

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and CRM dialer systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Fixed Salary

₹17,000 CTC per month
