CNC Operator – Rajaram Machine (Jewelry)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Rajaram CNC jewellery machines as per production requirements.
• Set up jobs, fixtures, cutters, tools and machine parameters before production.
• Load and unload gold or other jewellery components safely and accurately.
• Operate CNC machines for bangle, ring and jewellery cutting/faceting applications.
• Read and understand CAD/CAM designs, drawings and job instructions.
• Set speed, feed, depth, axis movement and cutting parameters according to the job.
• Check first-piece samples and ensure dimensions, design and finish meet specifications.
• Monitor machine performance during production and identify abnormalities.
• Perform basic tool changes, machine adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Minimize metal wastage and ensure proper collection/recovery of precious-metal chips and dust.
• Maintain accurate production records and report machine or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Follow company SOPs, safety procedures and jewellery quality standards.
• Coordinate with CAD designers, production supervisors and quality teams for smooth production.
