Store Manager / Store Keeper – Data Center Structured Cabling

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Manager / Store Keeper to manage material handling, inventory control, inward \& outward stock movement, and store operations for Data Center Structured Cabling projects. The candidate should have experience in handling telecom, electrical, networking, or data center materials and should ensure proper stock maintenance, documentation, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations for Data Center Structured Cabling projects.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of fiber, copper cables, racks, patch panels, networking accessories, tools, consumables, and related materials.
• Handle inward and outward material entries with proper documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement/project teams for material requirements.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, stacking, and material handling practices.
• Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), delivery challans, stock registers, and material issue records.
• Track material consumption and maintain inventory reports in Excel/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with site engineers and vendors for material dispatch and receipt.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Ensure safe storage practices and maintain housekeeping standards in the store area.
• Maintain records of damaged, excess, or returned materials.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to inventory management.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma holder preferred.
• 2–6 years of experience in store management, preferably in Data Center, Telecom, Electrical, or Structured Cabling projects.
• Knowledge of structured cabling materials, fiber optics, copper cabling, racks, and networking accessories.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and documentation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/software-based inventory systems.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage store activities in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on Data Center or Hyperscale projects.
• Knowledge of structured cabling brands such as Panduit, CommScope, Legrand, Molex, etc.
• Familiarity with material tracking and logistics coordination.
