Tool Room Engineer

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Perform mold manufacturing, fitting, assembly, and repair activities as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out bench work, filing, grinding, drilling, tapping, polishing, and spotting operations.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection molds and press tools.
• Inspect, repair, and replace mold components such as ejector pins, guide pins, bushes, slides, and lifters.
• Operate conventional machines such as milling, lathe, surface grinding, and drilling machines.
• Inspect mold components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify and troubleshoot mold defects such as flash, burrs, mismatch, wear, and cooling issues.
• Perform hot runner system maintenance, including inspection and replacement of heaters, thermocouples, and related components.
• Troubleshoot hot runner system issues such as temperature variations, nozzle leakage, and melt flow problems.
• Assist in mold trials, mold changeovers, and production troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Maintain mold history cards, maintenance records, and follow quality standards and 5S practices.
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate with production and quality teams to improve mold performance and tool life

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
