JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced VMC Operator – Tool Room with hands-on experience in VMC machine operation, setting, and precision machining. The candidate will be responsible for machining tool room components, dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, and other precision components as per engineering drawings and required dimensional accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and set VMC machines as per job requirements.
• Machine tool room components, dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, and precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Select and set appropriate cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
• Perform basic CNC program editing as required.
• Work on Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi CNC controls.
• Inspect machined components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Support tool and die modification, maintenance, and machining activities.
• Ensure required dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify machining-related issues and take appropriate corrective action.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant hands-on experience in VMC machine operation and setting.
• Experience in a Tool Room / Die / Jig \& Fixture manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and program editing.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Knowledge of GD\&T.
• Good understanding of tool steels, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to independently handle machining operations and maintain required quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work in a 12-hour shift.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a responsible, technically skilled, and detail-oriented VMC Operator who can independently handle machining operations in a Tool Room environment.

Candidates with relevant experience in dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, and precision tool-room machining will be preferred.
