Ward Staff Nurse

Provide direct patient care based on individual treatment plans

Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as per doctors’ orders

Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records

Assist in patient assessments, admissions, and discharges

Maintain hygienic and safe environment in the ward

Support doctors during rounds and procedures

Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care

Ensure strict adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and nursing protocols

Skills Required

Sound knowledge of clinical procedures and nursing practices

Good communication, observation, and reporting skills

Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure

Compassionate and patient-focused approach

Basic computer knowledge for medical documentation

Eligibility

DGNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution

Must be registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNC)
