Pizza Maker-(Wood fired)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Wood-Fired Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo to join our premium fine-dining restaurant in Surat.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with wood-fired pizza, excellent knowledge of dough preparation and fermentation, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality pizzas in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic, premium-quality wood-fired pizzas according to restaurant standards.
• Prepare and manage pizza dough, including mixing, fermentation, portioning, shaping and stretching.
• Operate and maintain a wood-fired pizza oven, including managing temperature and fire.
• Maintain consistency in pizza size, texture, toppings, baking and presentation.
• Prepare pizza sauces, toppings and mise en place as per recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure proper food storage, hygiene and freshness of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station.
• Monitor food quality, portion control and wastage.
• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and restaurant SOPs.
• Assist in developing new pizza recipes and seasonal specials when required.
• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or operational issues.
• Handle high-volume service while maintaining fine-dining quality and presentation.
