Education Counsellor – PuneFull-Time | Salary: ₹2.5–4 LPA CTC + performance-based incentives Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in education or admissions counselling. Freshers are not eligible. Job DescriptionGuide students, graduates, working professionals and professionals based abroad in choosing suitable higher-education programmes, including BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA, MBA, MA, M.Com and other undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Support candidates from the initial enquiry through admission and enrolment. Main Responsibilities and Tasks Assess candidates’ qualifications, interests, career goals and preferred learning mode. Recommend suitable programmes and explain eligibility, fees, duration, specialisations and admission requirements. Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, video counselling and walk-ins. Follow up with prospective candidates and achieve agreed admission targets. Assist with applications, document collection, verification and enrolment. Coordinate with universities, colleges and internal teams for smooth admission processing. Maintain accurate student records and follow-up updates in CRM or Excel. Stay updated on course offerings, admission deadlines and university policies. Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of higher-education programmes and admission processes. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, CRM and online communication tools.
