Job Description – Ambulance Driver Company: Universal Elder Care Location: Kovaipudur, Coimbatore Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month Job Type: Full-Time Job ResponsibilitiesDrive the ambulance safely to transport patients to hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency patient transportation requests. Assist patients with boarding and exiting the ambulance, ensuring their safety and comfort. Coordinate with healthcare staff and caregivers during patient transfers. Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the ambulance. Check the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in good working condition. Monitor fuel levels and report any vehicle maintenance or repair requirements. Follow traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of trips, patient transfers, and vehicle usage. RequirementsPrevious driving experience in any type of vehicle is required. A valid driving licence is mandatory. Experience driving an ambulance or working in a hospital or healthcare setting will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of local routes in and around Coimbatore. Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious. Ability to remain calm and act responsibly in emergency situations. Good communication skills and a patient-friendly attitude.
