Accountant Cum Office Assistant

We are looking for a responsible, active, and dependable person to handle basic accounting work, maintain stock records, and assist in day-to-day shop operations. The candidate should have practical experience with Tally software and be willing to perform a mix of accounting, inventory management, customer coordination, and market-related activities as required. Key Responsibilities -Accounting: Make sales and purchase entries, maintain vouchers, handle cash entries, and assist with day-to-day accounting in Tally. -Stock Management: Maintain stock records, check physical inventory, monitor inward and outward stock, receivables and payables, Files management and report discrepancies. -Shop Operations: Assist in daily shop activities, order processing, billing, and general coordination. -Customer Coordination: Visit customers when required, coordinate deliveries, collect orders, and assist with customer-related work. -Market Visits: Visit the local market, suppliers, or customers for business-related activities as required. -General Administration: Handle routine office work, documentation, and other operational tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications -Practical working knowledge of Tally software. -Basic knowledge of accounting, billing, sales, and purchase entries. -Ability to maintain stock registers and inventory records. -Basic computer skills, including MS Excel. -Good communication skills and a responsible attitude. -Willingness to travel locally for market visits or customer-related work when required. -Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in a shop, Distributor, trading business, wholesale business, or retail establishment is preferred. Candidates with experience in both accounting and stock handling will be given preference.
