Job Description: Guest Service Associate Department: Food & Beverage / Guest Relations Location: Daphne’s Café, Guwahati, Assam Employment Type: Full-Time Job SummaryDaphne’s Café is looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and customer-oriented Guest Service Associate to ensure an excellent dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide attentive and professional service in a fast-paced café environment. Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements. Present menus, explain dishes, recommend food and beverages, and answer guest queries. Take accurate orders and coordinate with the kitchen and service teams for timely delivery. Ensure tables, dining areas, and guest spaces remain clean and well-maintained. Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints politely and professionally. Maintain proper service etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with reservations, guest inquiries, and billing whenever required. Maintain the café’s hospitality standards, hygiene practices, and professional appearance. Eligibility & SkillsMinimum qualification: 10+2 or equivalent. Prior experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred; freshers with good communication skills may also apply. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Pleasant personality, professional grooming, and a customer-first attitude. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
