Continental Chef – Commis I / Commis II / Commis III

Prepare and cook continental dishes, including pasta, sandwiches, salads, starters, sauces, and other menu items as required.

Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, preparation methods, and plating guidelines.

Ensure consistency in taste, food quality, presentation, and serving portions.

Assist in daily kitchen operations and ensure timely preparation of customer orders.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned kitchen section, equipment, and workstations.

Follow food safety standards and proper food storage practices.

Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for ingredient rotation and storage.

Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.

Monitor stock availability and report ingredient requirements to the senior chef.

Minimize food wastage and ensure the efficient use of kitchen ingredients.

Coordinate with the Chef de Partie, senior chefs, and other kitchen team members.

Follow company SOPs, food safety guidelines, and kitchen discipline standards.

Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment.
