Warehouse Incharge – Furniture Industry
Salary - upto 9 LPA
Location - Hoskote, Bangalore
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations for furniture products.
- Handle inward, outward, receiving, dispatch and stock transfer of furniture.
- Supervise loading and unloading of bulky furniture and ensure safe material handling.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking and SKU-wise arrangement of furniture.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records using ERP/WMS/Excel.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and cycle counts.
- Check furniture for quantity, quality, damages and missing parts during inward/outward.
- Coordinate with transporters, delivery teams, vendors and stores for timely dispatches.
- Manage returns, damaged products, replacement and reverse logistics.
- Supervise warehouse staff, helpers and loaders and allocate daily work.
- Ensure proper packing, labelling and dispatch documentation.
- Prepare GRN, delivery challan, stock transfer and inventory reports.
- Monitor and minimize stock loss, damage, shrinkage and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper warehouse space utilization, cleanliness and safety.
- Follow company SOPs, safety standards and inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement and Logistics teams for smooth warehouse functioning.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in Furniture / Home Décor / Home Furnishing warehouse operations.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, dispatch, inward/outward and team handling.
- Comfortable handling large/bulky furniture products.
- Good knowledge of Excel/ERP/WMS.
