Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is hiring a Commis III for its kitchen / culinary team in the Maldives. This is a full-time, on-site resort position based in North Malé Atoll. Provides junior-level kitchen support with ingredient preparation, workstation cleanliness and routine service tasks.
About This Role
Provides junior-level kitchen support with ingredient preparation, workstation cleanliness and routine service tasks. The role supports coordinated service in a premium all-inclusive island resort, with a focus on safety, responsible operations, accuracy and helpful teamwork with colleagues from other departments.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, peel, cut and measure ingredients under chef supervision.
Assist with straightforward food preparation and mise en place.
Transport and replenish approved supplies in kitchen sections.
Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, equipment and utensils.
Check ingredient labels, rotation dates and safe storage with colleagues.
Communicate promptly when tasks are completed or support is required.
Useful Experience and Skills
Interest in developing a career in hotel or resort kitchens.
Willingness to learn kitchen preparation and food hygiene standards.
Careful handling of ingredients and equipment.
Reliable attendance, communication and teamwork.
