Staff Nurse-Labour Room

Sabine Hospital \& Research Centre is looking for qualified and dedicated Staff Nurses for the Labour Room at our Kollam branch. The ideal candidates should have good clinical skills, patient-care abilities, and a compassionate approach towards women’s healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients admitted to the Labour Room.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and assess their health conditions.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Monitor patients following gynaecological surgeries and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, recovery, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and hospital policies.
• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.

Qualification

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Valid Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council registration.
• Minimun 1- 2 years Experience in a Labour Room/Gynaecology Ward or women’s healthcare setting is preferred.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.

Salary should be based on interview performance \& experience . Should be fixed at the time of interview
