Purchase Executive

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and ensure the timely availability of required materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, pricing, service, delivery timelines, and compliance with hospital requirements.
• Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing, payment terms, and favorable purchase agreements.
• Coordinate with various hospital departments to understand their requirements and ensure timely procurement of medical and non-medical supplies.
• Conduct market research to monitor price fluctuations, evaluate supplier capabilities, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage vendor relationships through regular communication, performance monitoring, and timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor inventory levels, consumption patterns, and demand forecasts to prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and unnecessary expenditure.
• Ensure the timely preparation, processing, and approval of purchase orders as per hospital policies.
• Implement and maintain effective procurement systems, procedures, and documentation to streamline departmental operations.
• Review procurement activities regularly and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and periodic reports on purchase activities, expenditure, vendor performance, and cost savings to the Chief Executive.
• Maintain procurement records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, applicable statutory requirements, and established procurement procedures.
• Promote ethical purchasing practices and maintain transparency in vendor selection and procurement decisions.
• Take responsibility for the overall functioning, coordination, supervision, and control of the Purchase Department.
• Perform any other purchase-related duties assigned by the management to ensure smooth hospital operations.

₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
