Store Manager

Job Description

Roms n Raks Pet Store is seeking a responsible and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage staff, and maintain smooth functioning of the store. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, retail experience, and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning

Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve performance targets

Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally

Maintain inventory levels, stock ordering, and proper merchandising

Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving monthly targets

Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and daily sales reporting

Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Coordinate with head office for reporting, stock, and operational requirements

Handle staff attendance, duty rosters, and leave management

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, preferably in pet care, FMCG, or specialty retail

Proven experience in store or team management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer knowledge (POS systems, MS Excel, email)

Ability to manage staff, inventory, and customer relations effectively

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Leadership and problem-solving abilities

Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail

Knowledge or interest in pet products and pet care (added advantage)
