Job Responsibilities
Store Operations
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the supermarket.
Ensure the store opens and closes on time.
Maintain proper store layout, product display and cleanliness.
Ensure smooth operations across all departments.
Staff Management
Supervise and manage all store employees.
Prepare staff duty rosters and attendance.
Allocate daily duties and monitor employee performance.
Ensure staff discipline, punctuality and proper grooming.
Conduct regular staff briefings and training.
Sales & Customer Service
Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
Monitor sales performance and take necessary actions to improve sales.
Ensure excellent customer service.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain good customer relationships.
Stock & Inventory Management
Monitor stock availability and ensure proper replenishment.
Control stock shortages, damages and expiry products.
Conduct regular stock verification.
Monitor receiving, transfers and supplier deliveries.
Ensure proper FIFO / FEFO practices.
Minimise stock loss and wastage.
Billing & Cash Management
Monitor cashier operations and billing accuracy.
Ensure proper cash handling and daily cash closing.
Verify sales reports and cash reconciliation.
Prevent billing errors and cash discrepancies.
