- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section as per recipes and standards
- Manage and supervise commis chefs and kitchen helpers
- Ensure timely food preparation during service
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the work area
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients
- Minimize wastage and control food cost in the section
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Support the Sous Chef/Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Follow SOPs, portion control, and plating standards
