Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tandoori Cook at the Commis II level who has practical experience in tandoor preparation and can support daily kitchen operations. The candidate should be familiar with preparing tandoori dishes and breads while maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tandoori dishes, kebabs, tikka, and other assigned menu items.
• Prepare ingredients and marinades according to standard recipes.
• Assist in preparing naan, roti, kulcha, and other tandoori breads.
• Operate the tandoor under established safety procedures.
• Maintain consistency in taste, cooking, and presentation.
• Ensure ingredients are stored and handled properly.
• Keep the tandoor section clean and organised.
• Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen preparation.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Report ingredient shortages and minimise food wastage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in tandoori cooking.
• Basic to good knowledge of tandoor operations.
• Experience preparing tandoori breads, tikka, and kebabs.
• Knowledge of ingredient preparation and marination.
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good teamwork and willingness to learn.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in restaurants, hotels, or Indian cuisine establishments.

Pay

₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
