Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited as a key member of our Warehouse team, where you will oversee and optimize warehouse operations within the mining and metals industry. This role demands a strategic and detail-oriented professional responsible for managing inventory control, ensuring timely and accurate material handling, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and support the company’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and production departments to ensure timely availability of materials and optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards specific to the mining and metals sector.
• Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements and generate reports for management review.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to schedule and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce operational risks.
• Manage documentation related to warehouse activities, including shipping records, inventory logs, and compliance reports.
