Commis Chef/Chef de Partie

We are looking for an experienced and expert-level Indian Catering Chef to handle live food preparation for our banquet hall catering operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Indian gravies, vegetables, dal, pulao, rice and other Indian dishes for large gatherings.

Handle live cooking and bulk food preparation during weddings, functions and other banquet events.

Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion control for large-scale catering.

Plan and manage preparation according to the number of guests and event requirements.

Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen.

Coordinate with the catering and kitchen team during events.

Ensure food is prepared and replenished on time during live functions.

Requirements

Strong experience in Indian catering and banquet kitchen operations is essential.

Must have hands-on experience with live catering / bulk cooking for large gatherings.

Expert knowledge of Indian gravies, vegetables, dal, pulao and rice preparations.

Ability to consistently deliver the same taste and quality in large quantities.

Experience in weddings, banquet halls, hotels or large-scale catering preferred.

Good leadership and team-management skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure during large events.

Preferred Experience

5+ years of relevant catering experience, preferably with experience handling 500–1000+ guest functions.

Pay

₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
