Role Summary

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and service areas, and supporting smooth back-of-house operations during service.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and store utensils, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, wash area, and service stations

Assist FOH/kitchen staff with setup and clearing during peak service

Manage stock of clean utensils/glassware to avoid shortages during service

Dispose of waste as per hygiene standards

Report equipment damage or shortages to supervisor

Requirements

Physically fit, able to stand for long hours

Basic understanding of hygiene/cleanliness standards

Willing to work in shifts, including weekends

Prior steward/kitchen helper experience preferred but not mandatory
