Warehouse & Inventory Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Inventory Assistant to manage spare parts storage, inventory accuracy, material receiving, and dispatch operations. The role primarily involves warehouse activities and requires a hands-on individual who can ensure proper material identification, storage, and movement within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain proper storage and arrangement of spare parts in designated warehouse locations.

Ensure all materials are stored accurately and systematically for easy identification and retrieval.

Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and condition against delivery documents.

Store received materials in the correct locations with complete accuracy.

Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and stock verification.

Report discrepancies in stock levels, damaged items, or misplaced materials.

Pick the correct spare parts and materials based on dispatch instructions.

Prepare and dispatch materials accurately and on time.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse.

Assist in stock counting, inventory audits, and warehouse housekeeping activities.

Ensure proper handling and preservation of spare parts to prevent damage or loss.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum qualification

Higher Secondary (Plus Two) / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse, stores, inventory management, or spare parts handling.

Experience in construction equipment, automobile, heavy equipment, engineering, or industrial spare parts stores will be preferred.

Good knowledge of spare parts identification and warehouse storage practices.

Ability to perform physical warehouse activities, including material handling and stock verification.

Attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Basic reading and documentation skills.

Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
