Hair Transplant Technician

Key Responsibilities

Assist the hair transplant surgeon during FUE and FUT procedures.

Prepare the operation theatre, instruments, equipment, and consumables before procedures.

Assist with donor-area preparation and graft extraction under the surgeon’s direction and within the technician’s authorized scope of practice.

Sort, count, inspect, and prepare extracted hair grafts under appropriate supervision.

Maintain graft hydration, temperature, and viability according to the clinic’s protocols.

Assist with recipient-site implantation and graft placement as permitted by applicable regulations and clinical protocols.

Maintain aseptic techniques, sterilization standards, and infection-control procedures.

Monitor and document graft counts and procedural details accurately.

Assist with patient positioning, comfort, and postoperative instructions under clinical supervision.

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment according to established protocols.

Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate clinical records.

Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Follow clinic policies, occupational safety requirements, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

Relevant healthcare qualification or clinical technician training, as required by applicable regulations.

Previous experience in hair transplantation or a related clinical setting is preferred.

Knowledge of FUE/FUT procedures, graft handling, and sterile techniques.

Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.

Ability to work effectively in a team and remain focused during lengthy procedures.

Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.

Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality.

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
