Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cook specialising in Chinese and North Indian cuisines. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and hygiene. Knowledge of South Indian cuisine will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare authentic Chinese and North Indian dishes as per restaurant standards.

Handle food preparation, cooking, plating, and kitchen operations independently.

Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and portion sizes.

Ensure proper food storage, hygiene, and cleanliness.

Monitor ingredient usage, minimise wastage, and assist with inventory management.

Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order preparation.

Follow food safety regulations and kitchen operating procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Chinese and North Indian cuisine.

Strong knowledge of Chinese dishes, including fried rice, noodles, starters, and gravies.

Experience preparing North Indian curries, breads, and other popular dishes.

Ability to work independently and efficiently during busy service hours.

Knowledge of South Indian cuisine will be an added advantage.

Flexibility to work in shifts as per operational requirements.

Preferred Candidate: A versatile, reliable cook with hands-on restaurant kitchen experience who can independently manage Chinese and North Indian food preparation.
